Toyohari – Acupuncture for people who do not like needles

Toyohari is a unique style of Japanese acupuncture in which practitioners are trained to perform their treatments without inserting the needle into the patient. Instead, the needle rests gently on the surface of the skin. Practitioners then direct the vital energy called Qi (or Chi) down the needle and into the person. Eliminating pain or fear, the patient is more accepting of the Qi and healing progresses faster. There is even a needle-less, specialized version of acupuncture for children!
